This research group in Psychological Development and Education has the fundamental objective of promoting the psychology of human development as a subdiscipline of the psychological sciences.
It is dedicated to studying different dimensions of the development of the person at different times of the life cycle. Current research interests are located in the following fields: a) the development of social understanding and its relationship with the pragmatics of language in early childhood; b) socio-emotional development, communication and culture in the life cycle; and c) the processes of healthy and pathological aging, as well as the importance of autobiographical memory during old age. We are interested in channeling our research findings towards educational intervention, clinical approach and rehabilitation, both individually and in groups.
Este grupo de investigación en Desarrollo psicológico y educación tiene como objetivo fundamental promover la psicología del desarrollo humano como subdisciplina de las ciencias psicológicas.
Se dedica a estudiar distintas dimensiones del desarrollo de la persona en diferentes momentos del ciclo vital. Los intereses de investigación actuales se ubican en los siguientes campos: a) el desarrollo de la comprensión social y su relación con la pragmática del lenguaje en la niñez temprana; b) el desarrollo socioemocional, la comunicación y cultura en el ciclo vital; y c) los procesos de envejecimiento saludable y patológico, así como la importancia de la memoria autobiográfica durante la vejez. Nos interesa canalizar nuestros hallazgos de investigación hacia la intervención educativa, el abordaje clínico y la rehabilitación, tanto en forma individual como grupal.
