He obtained his bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Costa Rica and his degree in Spanish Philology at the same institution. She is currently an Associate Researcher at the Psychological Research Institute of the University of Costa Rica. His areas of interest are pragmatics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, and the development of standardized reading comprehension and textual production tests.
Obtuvo su bachillerato y su licenciatura en Filología Española de la Universidad de Costa Rica . Además, está estudiando Ciencias en la Comunicación Colectiva en la misma institución. Actualmente es investigadora asociada en el Instituto de Investigaciones Psicológicas, de la Universidad de Costa Rica. Sus áreas de interés son la pragmática, el análisis del discurso, la psicolingüística, y el desarrollo de pruebas estandarizadas de comprensión lectora y de producción textual.
